Comfort Station

Designed and made on the premises by shop owner Amy Anderson, the jewelry at Comfort Station has a unique, attention-getting, but not overly bold aesthetic. The best pieces are architectural in feel, including hefty hexagon-shaped stacking rings and oversized hoop earrings that hang from a thin bar. Anderson crafts her pieces in sterling silver or gold plate and the quality is high, yet the prices are extremely fair. Comfort Station’s decor is as engaging as the jewelry; vintage suitcases are mounted on the wall and used as display cabinets; antique books are mounted open and in groupings on the wall and adorned with Anderson’s pieces. Also for sale are bone china mugs covered in ornate hand-drawn illustrations and finished with twenty-two-carat-gold detailing that makes them feel more like art than a receptacle for tea or coffee.
